The GSR Junior Foursomes League.

For the past three years, we’ve been the sponsors of the GSR Junior Foursomes League in Kent.

The league brings together the best young golfers from 18 clubs across the county, split into two divisions, all competing for the coveted Cup and Plate titles.

The day on film.

Foursomes golf, where two players share one ball and play alternate shots, is a format that rewards teamwork, communication and nerve. For young players, it’s a brilliant way to build confidence, learn to handle pressure and form friendships that last well beyond the final whistle.

Why we do it

Investing in the next generation of golfers.

County competition is where so many golfers take their first steps towards the wider amateur game. By backing the league, we’re helping to:

  • Give juniors regular, high-quality competitive golf
  • Strengthen links between clubs across Kent
  • Create opportunities for young players to represent their club with pride
  • Support the volunteers, captains and coaches who make it all happen

The league turns 30 in 2027, and its organisers hope to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer (opens in a new tab).
