Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser, so it can remember something from one page or visit to the next. This page lists every cookie golfsimrooms.co.uk can set, and the few other things it can save in your browser, what each one is for and how long it lasts.

Your choice

The first time you visit, we ask whether we can use cookies for two things:

  • Measuring visits. Google Analytics and HubSpot count visits and show us which pages help. If you enquire, HubSpot shows us the pages you read first.
  • Ads. Google and Meta show our adverts to past visitors and tell us which adverts bring enquiries. Both also get a scrambled copy of contact details typed into our forms.

Both stay off unless you say yes. Saying no changes nothing else: you can still read every page, request a brochure and book a consultation.

A couple of cookies are always on, because the site needs them: one remembers your answer, and one keeps our consultation form safe from spam.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or this button, then switch off anything you no longer want and save, or choose Reject all. We delete the cookies and anything else it saved in your browser for golfsimrooms.co.uk, and reload the page, so it stops straight away.

Until you say yes, the site also removes these whenever a page loads, including any cookies our previous website left in your browser. Your answer lasts six months, then we ask again. You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser’s settings.

Every cookie we use

Checked on this site on 5 October 2026. Most are saved under our own address, golfsimrooms.co.uk; a few are saved under the address of the company that sets them, and are theirs to remove. The ones marked “saved in your browser” are not cookies but work the same way: your browser keeps them for this site until they are removed.

Always on

The site needs these to work, so they do not wait for a yes. Neither records what you do here.

What Google and Meta see

When Ads is on, Google and Meta can also use cookies under their own addresses, such as google.com, doubleclick.net and facebook.com, for example if you are signed in to them. Those are covered by Google’s cookie policy and Meta’s cookie policy.

When Ads is on and you fill in one of our forms, Meta’s code also sends Meta a scrambled copy of contact details you type, such as your email address, name and phone number, so Meta can tell whether you saw one of our adverts. They are scrambled in your browser before they leave it, so Meta does not receive them as you wrote them, but it can match them with the details people give Facebook and Instagram.

If you allow Measuring visits but not Ads, nothing is sent to Google Ads or Meta at all.
