How was your experience engaging with GSR during your enquiry stages?
From the moment I made that first phone call, I got a reply quickly. The home visit was within four days — Ben came up, gave me multiple options, and never tried to push the most expensive product. He sold me something completely suited to me.
From there it was just easy. We exchanged ideas, went through colours and specifications, and the whole process was straightforward. I’ll be honest — I lost my daughter during this time and had a lot going on. Ben just knew exactly what I wanted, took it all off my plate, and designed my garage. I had complete trust in Ben and the GSR team.
How was your experience of working with the team that handled the installation?
Forgive me on names, but I got a call asking if they could start early as the pads needed cutting on site — no issue at all. Ben told me the lads would be there at 8am Monday. They knocked on my door at 7:59.
From start to finish, nothing was an issue. Unbelievable service — every single person was polite and professional. We had some Ukrainian guys come and they were brilliant; the quality of the installation was second to none.
The only disappointing thing about Mark is that he’s a West Ham fan! He and I had the most banter — I could tell straight away the lads didn’t mind a laugh, which made the whole experience even better.
Even the little things stood out. While we were waiting for the projector to arrive, the guys noticed the drawing was eight inches out, corrected it themselves, and just got on with it. Their attention to detail was brilliant. They were constantly checking in — are you happy with that? — the whole way through.
My overall impression of GSR is that you’re all like a family. Everyone gets on, everyone’s got each other’s backs. I only had to ask them to do one extra thing the entire time, and they didn’t bat an eyelid — just did it and cracked on.
How has it been engaging with GSR since they finished your project?
There was one thing I thought might be wrong, so I sent Jack a text on a Saturday night. He rang me back within five minutes and remotely logged into my computer to sort it. That’s the only time I’ve needed GSR since, and the response was incredible — I really can’t stress that enough.
I’ve got 180 lads working for me, and I can honestly say that every single person I’ve dealt with at GSR has been exceptional. I have no doubt we’ll stay in touch.
